PLANTICA awards was instituted in 2018 to motivate high quality fundamental and applied research amongst researchers in India in the field of Agriculture, Allied and Plant Sciences. This is an annual award open to all Indian Researchers in the field of Agriculture, Allied and Plant Sciences under following subject categories

Botany
Plant Biotechnology, Microbiology and Molecular Biology (including Bioinformatics)
Plant Protection (Pathology/ Nematology / Entomology)
Plant Breeding and Genetics (Including Plant Genetic Resources and Seed Technology)
Soil Science (Including Integrated Nutrient management/Organic Farming/ Natural Farming, Soil Chemistry)
Social Sciences (Agricultural Economics/ Extension Education)

Nomination for PLANTICA Awards – 2022 are Open 09 May, 2022 and Close 10 June, 2022. Submit nomination as per eligibility given below.

In 2022 APSR will be awarding accomplished agricultural, allied and plant scientist / reseachers across all areas of agriculture, allied and plant science and at all stages of their career.  APSR awards offered in 2022 are the Young Scientist Awards, Excellence Research Fellow Award, Best Ph.D. Thesis Award, Best M.Sc. Thesis Award, Innovative Research Award and M.S. Swaminathan Research Fellow Award.

Please Note: A selected awardee have to take the membership of APSR

1. Plantica Young Scientist Award

Award Include: Certificate of Appreciation, One Medal and Life Membership certificate of scientific society “Association of Plant Science Researchers” for all awardees.

The entire Young Scientist awardees can write the “MAPSR” (Life Member of Association of Plant Science Researchers) with their degrees for example Mr. A. B. Pant, M.Sc., MAPSR or Dr. A. C. Naidu, M.Sc., Ph.D., MAPSR

Eligibility: Scholars/ Researchers/ Faculty/ Scientist,

Age Limit: up to 35 Years

2. Plantica Excellence Research Fellow Award

Award Include: Certificate of Appreciation, One Medal and Fellow Membership certificate of scientific society “Association of Plant Science Researchers” for all awardees.

The entire awardees can write the “FAPSR” (Fellow Association of Plant Science Researchers) with their degrees for example Dr. S. C. Pant, M.Sc., Ph.D., FAPSR.

Eligibility: All Researchers/ Faculty/ Scientist who have Ph.D. with minimum 03 years of post Ph.D. experience.

Age Limit: up to 50 Years

3. Plantica Best Ph.D. Thesis Award

Award Include: Certificate of Appreciation, One Medal and Life Membership certificate of scientific society “Association of Plant Science Researchers” for all awardees.

The entire awardees can write the “MAPSR” (Life Member of Association of Plant Science Researchers) with their degrees for example Mr. A. B. Pant, M.Sc., MAPSR or Dr. A. C. Naidu, M.Sc., Ph.D., MAPSR

Eligibility: Ph.D. Scholars/ Researchers/ Faculty/ Scientist, who have submitted Ph.D. Thesis

Year of Thesis Submission should be: 2019, 2020 or 2021 (Not before 2019)  

4. Plantica Best M.Sc. Thesis Award

Award Include: Certificate of Appreciation, One Medal and Life Membership certificate of scientific society “Association of Plant Science Researchers” for all awardees.

The entire awardees can write the “MAPSR” (Life Member of Association of Plant Science Researchers) with their degrees for example Mr. A. B. Pant, M.Sc., MAPSR or Dr. A. C. Naidu, M.Sc., Ph.D., MAPSR

Eligibility: M.Sc. Student/ Scholars/ Researchers, who have submitted M.Sc. Thesis

Year of Thesis Submission should be: 2019, 2020 or 2021 (Not before 2019) 

5. Plantica Innovative Research Award

Award Include: Certificate of Appreciation, One Medal and Life Membership certificate of scientific society “Association of Plant Science Researchers” for all awardees.

The entire awardees can write the “MAPSR” (Life Member of Association of Plant Science Researchers) with their degrees for example Mr. A. B. Pant, M.Sc., MAPSR or Dr. A. C. Naidu, M.Sc., Ph.D., MAPSR.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicant have to submit his/ her one best/ innovative published research paper with application form 
  2. M. Sc. / Ph.D. Scholars/ Researchers/ Faculty/ Scientist/ Professionals may apply 
  3. Only NAAS rated 6 and above or Scopus/ SCI indexed research paper will be considered for award
  4. The applicant should be the first author or corresponding author on a paper published online or in print between January 01, 2019 to December 30, 2021
  5. One applicant may submit only one research paper

6. Plantica M. S. Swaminathan Research Fellow Award (Only for Life Member of APSR)

Award Include: Certificate of Appreciation and One Medal

Eligibility:             Life Membership of APSR-Plantica (January 2018 to December, 2021)
